We try to keep all of our education opportunities full of fun and learning but most important, we want every to come and join us. You do not have to be a member of Grace Lutheran Church to take part in any of the educational opportunities offered below.

2008 Theme: Growing in Faith

Our child/youth education program goes from the age of 2 through 8th grade. We hold Sunday School starting the Sunday after Labor Day and it continues through mid-May. A variety of activities happen on Sunday morning including a short singing time for the younger students and special projects throughout the year. The children put on a Christmas program during the Advent season as well as singing at various church services throughout the year. First Communion classes are offered to students beginning in second grade. Each year the G.L.C.W. (Grace Lutheran Church Women) presents our 3rd grade students with a Bible inscribed with their name. During the summer counselors from Sugar Creek Bible Camp come down to lead a 4-day event of fun-filled activities for 1st through 5th graders which is held at Centennial Park. A half-day Vacation Bible School camp, led by volunteers, is held for ages 3 through kindergarten in the Fellowship Hall at Grace Lutheran Church. Click on the child/youth link to learn more about this part of our education area.

Confirmation
Confirmation is offered on Wednesday evenings during the school year for 7th and 8th grade students. Please click on the confirmation link for more information about this program.

Preschool
Preschool is another facet of our education program at Grace Lutheran. The Grace Lutheran Preschool is a Biblically-based preschool for ages 3-5. Sessions run 2 or 3 mornings or afternoons a week during the school year, depending on the child’s age. We offer an exciting theme-based curriculum and daily Bible stories along with songs, crafts, free play time, and snacks. There are opportunities for social interaction and the development of large and small motor skills. Our overall goal is to help each child love learning and be ready for the next educational step. We have a lot of fun, too! Click on our preschool link to learn more about our program or call the church office.

High School
Our high school program is for 9th -12th graders. They enjoy a variety of activities throughout the year and perform community service projects for our community. Click on the high school link for more information about this program.

Adult Education
Adult education, led by various volunteer leaders with guidance from our Pastor, cover a wide variety of topics. Click on the adult link for more information about this program.

We try to keep all of our educational opportunities full of fun and learning, but most importantly, we want everyone to come and join us. You do not have to be a member of Grace Lutheran Church in order to take part in any of these educational opportunities.
